"A while back you mentioned there were several GPP Peeps that regularly engaged in “sports” as part of their being human, all without intensive training for that sport. Nothing except for regular, show up every day, and storm GPP and its programming.
It works.
Saturday I ran the Utah Valley Half Marathon. To prepare I ran ONE long distance (11 miles) and a couple of 3+ miles to help me remember my stride, nothing more except my butt in the door, every day, GPP.
End result: last years time- 2:08:42, this years time- 1:58:36, finishing 7th in my division. The only question that remains unanswered, “How much time can I shave off next year?”
