I almost always hate these things (i.e. video below). I find this kind of thing cheesy and overly simplistic.

Most of the time, there is nothing that will make me reach for the mouse faster. Most of the time, I see this kind of video and I'll audibly scoff and make that "Oh, SHUT up!" face. Most of the time I feel like punching my computer screen when these things sneak into my feed.

But then ...

Sometimes the words strike me. I don't mean for them to. But they do. And sometimes I just let it play. I just sit and listen to the words.

90% of what is being said goes into one ear, past the back of my "Oh, SHUT up" face, and straight out the other. But sometimes there is a line or two that sticks with me. Something I'll repeat to myself several times over the course of a day or two. And it helps.

Later, I might see that line again. When I do, I'll think to myself, "Cheeeeeese BALL!" Sometimes out LOUD. But if I'm being honest, I'm glad I heard it when I did. Twice as glad if I've used it to help me through a situation I was struggling with. And even more glad if was able to pass some of it's inspiration on.

Today I used the thought at 1:36 to help me make a decision. Did you click the vid? Which line, or visual struck you the hardest?

Could sweat angels have been Da Vinci's inspiration?
