 1/2 marathon this AM, that included a big hill (to me) 2x at 2:07.  Wanted under 2 hours, but the last 5 miles really slowed me down.  Last time I ran a 1/2 marathon was 5 years ago and was easier course and took me 2:14.  Only fit in 8 extra runs at 3-10 miles, but thanks to the fitness I've been able to build up through 10 months of GPP, I was able to finish.  Pretty amazing when you can hit a deadlift PR (by 35lbs!!) and a 1/2 marathon PR (by 7 minutes) in the same week.  Thank you so very much to Neil and GPP for your amazing programming!  As so many have said before me, this stuff really works!!  Also thank you to this amazing online community that has been so very encouraging.  Thank you, thank you! - April in OR
