TDC was a good thing for me. It did 2 things which have had a lasting effect.
First, due to the fact that I wasn't eating all that crap, my stomach shrunk. I just can't eat as much. I tried on Thanksgiving. It was the most miserable Turkey Day ever. I am both grateful and upset about this.
Second, I've continued to drink 64 oz (give or take) of water every day. I am happy to report that I don't pee as often. This took a lot longer to happen than I expected. I was told it would only take a week, or so. It is a lie!
I've gotten a cool (unexpected) benefit from drinking all that water. My fingertips haven't cracked yet. Every winter, when it turns cold I get painful little cracks in my fingertips. Miserable FRICKIN things. If you don't Super glue them, they get bigger and bleed. Know what I'm talking about? I get them all winter long after the cold sets in around late October. So far this year - NOTHING. I'm keeping with the water. Maybe some more unexpected benefits will pop up. I'll keep you posted.
Have you stayed with anything from the TDC challenge? Any unexpected benefits?
