Want to be able to do a strict full pullup? Start by doing negatives.
Grab a bar and jump up so your chin is above the bar (higher is better). Hold that position for a full 3 count, then lower yourself slowly (this should take an additional 3 seconds) until your arms are straight. Repeat. By the time you are able to do an honest 10 reps in a row, you'll have your pullup.
