How to Know if Your Trainer is Going to Suck.  (guest post on Janetha's blog)

This touched me deeply.  I've worked with Michelle many times at GPP.  I just didn't know her story until she sent this yesterday.  I had to post it.  This type of thing is magically inspiring.  Thank you Michelle. - N

I have had very good intentions of writing you an email for the last two weeks but it just hasn’t happened. I came in to class on Friday and spoke to Meg and told her I need to get an email to Neil about my experience, so finally I am getting it done.

3 years ago I weighed well over 300 lbs.  I’ve lost over 140lbs and have kept it off for over a year and a half now thanks to GPP!

I ran a full marathon last year and following the marathon I was completely crippled.  I couldn’t walk, my body was killing me, I was completely non-functioning.   I have followed GPP for over a year now.  I rarely miss a work out even though I live in Magna and can’t actually come to the gym.  I still complete the work-outs the very best at can at my local gym.  I ran Ogden marathon and improved my marathon time by 1 hour and 5minutes.  Nope, that not a typo, over an hour improvement!!  If I am being really honest, I don’t think I even trained as hard this year in regards to running.  Following the marathon I expected to be in pain for the next week.  Guess what?! Nothing.

I was a tiny bit sore on Monday, but was out running again Tuesday and felt great.

The only thing I did different was GPP.  WOW!!!! I can’t believe what a great runner you have turned me in to and how strong I really am.

I am so inspired by the comments every day and look forward to the work-outs (well, sometimes not the burpee’s, ha ha ha)

THANK YOU so much for all you do and for helping me so much!!

I wish the gym was closer so I could come more often but I still consider myself an honorary GPP member.
